Team '26 is almost here, and we're going to be there. So before the week kicks off, we wanted to share what we're looking forward to - because honestly, this is the one week of the year where the whole Atlassian world shows up in the same place, and there's a lot to be excited about.

The week you've been waiting for

Team is more than a conference. It's where Atlassian shows its hand for the year ahead, where customers swap war stories about scaling Confluence and Jira across thousands of users, and where the people who actually live in this stack - admins, knowledge managers, ITSM leads, project owners, platform teams - finally get to compare notes face to face.

The keynotes will set the agenda for the next twelve months. The breakouts will surface the real-world stories - the migrations that actually went smoothly, the rollouts that scaled, the governance models that held up under pressure. And the hallway conversations, as anyone who's been before will tell you, are where the most useful learning happens.

What we're watching for

A few of the themes we think will dominate the week:

AI inside the workflow. Rovo, agents, and the broader shift toward AI that lives where the work already happens. The interesting question isn't whether AI shows up in Confluence and Jira - it clearly is - but how teams actually adopt it without creating yet another disconnected experience.

Cloud, finally. For everyone still finishing their Data Center to Cloud journey, Team is where you'll find people one step ahead of you on the same path. The migration stories alone are worth the trip.

Scaling without sprawl. As Confluence and Jira footprints grow, the question of how to keep them tidy - governance, structure, lifecycle, content hygiene - keeps getting more urgent. Expect a lot of conversations about how teams are tackling it.

The Marketplace coming of age. Forge has matured. Customers are getting sharper about which apps they actually need, how many vendors they want to manage, and what "enterprise-ready" really means for a Marketplace app in 2026.

Why we'll be there

For Capable, Team '26 is a chance to meet the teams we build for, in person. The admins running enormous Confluence estates. The marketing ops folks wrestling with brand assets. The HR and ITSM teams trying to standardise approvals, calendars, and published content without bolting on five separate tools to do it.
